Success!

Christmas has arrived and I’m not debilitated or depressed.  All in all today is a good day.  Except for the part where I had to travel an hour to my relatives’ place for Christmas dinner.  They have three cats which drive my allergies nuts.

I got a bunch of rad shit.  Firstly, the camera that I took these pictures with, a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55.

Then this big fat Buddha statue:

Then I also got a hat from my brother and a couple of books from my parents:

My other brother brought me this crazy painting home from Malawi.  At least I think it’s from Malawi.  It could be from Ghana, either way it’s somewhere in Africa:

It’s oil paint.  I’d like to get it framed and put up on my wall seeing as how my room is so bare and it’s a cool painting.

I also got this USB key:

I think that’s aboot it.  I got some other odds and ends, some pajamas, a belt, and a gift certificate.  A good haul fo sho.

So Merry Christmas to everyone from IRC, Aura, Rey, the whole hattscrib crew, and whoever else happens to be reading this.  You guys all kick ass.

Oh yeah, I saw this on a neighbour’s lawn and had to share it.  It made me laugh when I drove by it so I went back and took a picture.  Talk about Christmas spirit.
