During the winter, going outside in the early morning makes me reminisce about my childhood hockey career. It’s for showing slideshows of pictures – oh yeah, that’s a lot of fun – or listening to music – not bad but I already have a computer for that. So what the fuck? It’d be so sweet if you could load an AVI onto a USB pickle and put it into the side of your TV.

I wonder if there’s an alternate OS that you can load onto LG televisions that supports different codecs. Probably not but that would be supremely awesome. Burning DVD’s is a huge hassle and a waste of resources. Even DVD-RW’s get worn out after a while and stop working.

SO LG, get with the fucking times and let me load movies from my USB key onto my motherfucking TV!

In other news, my fam got a sweet new TV and digital cable so I’ve been watching the HD channels. They’re pretty rad. The only problem is aspect ratios. I don’t know why they don’t just make every single channel 16:9 then I wouldn’t have to dick around with the controls or have black bars on either the side or the top of the show. It’s actually really annoying. Every show should fill out the entire screen.

Also, the DVD quality sucks balls because my s-video cable is borked. I’ve just been using regular AV cables which is a big waste of technology. I’ll fix it later.
